2024 – 2025 7th Grade Registration Letter

Dear Parent/Guardian & Student:
Dixon Middle School Faculty and Staff are looking forward to welcoming you to the new Shoreline Middle School for the 2024-2025 school year. Class registration must be completed online. This will be done in PowerSchool through the Student or Parent Portal. The open registration window is April 11th thru April 19th. We encourage you to look through the course description booklet carefully. This will allow you to make thoughtful decisions when it comes to choosing your courses for next year. The course description booklet may be found in the following places:

As per board policy, we will use the academic performance of every student as the prime criteria for placement in courses, including advanced and remediation courses. Placement will be based on current performance, current teacher recommendations, and end of the year content area assessments.
In order for your student’s schedule requests to be considered, registration must be completed during the open registration window April 11 thru April 19, 2024.
Immunizations (including the Tdap Booster, 1 Meningococcal and 2 Varicella/Chickenpox) are required for all 7th grade students before entering middle school in the state of Utah. Be sure to turn in proof of immunizations to the office at your Elementary School.
